I moved to South Wales in 2002 and set up my studio and workshop.

My work is currently sold mostly in Wales, and also in Bath and Bristol. I also sell at various events throughout the year where I value getting to meet my customers.

I have posted examples of my current work. Feel free to contact me if you would like any information or wish to discuss a commission.

Based near Swansea I enjoy dog walking up in the mountains and at the coast on Gower and camping in Pembrokeshire.

Dwi wedi bod yn dysgu Cymraeg ers symud i Cymru. Felle os i ni cwrdd gyda'ch gilydd - siaradwch yn cymraeg!  Doilch am edrych ar fy we fan fi.

(translation) I have been learning Welsh since moving to Wales. So if we meet - talk in Welsh !

Thanks for looking through my web site.

What I do

Making pots is my favourite thing. Its play time, and I find the nature of clay a compelling invitation to experiment and vary my work. I have developed a style of decoration that draws on influences from botanical and microbiological structures.

I mainly produce work for sale in galleries and craft shops, across the UK. I will also undertake commission work. This has usually been for customers who have bought gifts for others and decide they want something for themselves!

I occasionally take my 'Shimpo' electric wheel to crafts events helping people to 'throw' a pot. Take a look at my calender page for upcoming events.

I sell at many events thoughout the year, including the Royal Welsh Show, the Eisteddfod, and others.

I have worked with local support groups to run ceramics activity days for children and also taught adults privately. I have also provided activities in schools for time limited projects. I am also occasionally asked to demonstrate and discuss ceramics for local interest groups etc.
